Character Concept

 

Elara Swiftwind, a mischievous and curious young woman, possessed an exceptional affinity for magic from a young age. Growing up in the valley, she learned the basics of magic from the scrolls exchanged with merchants. However, at the age of 13, Elara's adventurous spirit led her to steal a mysterious object from the visiting witch, unaware of the curse it carried.

 

The stolen artifact brought about a curse that manifested whenever Elara experienced intense emotions. Anything she touched during these moments would rapidly age or decay, causing her great distress. Despite her attempts to find a cure, the curse persisted, leaving her isolated and feared by her fellow villagers.

 

Two years later, at the age of 15, Elara accidentally broke the protective enchantments laid by the witch around the village. The once-hidden community was exposed, and the villagers, fearing the potential consequences, cast Elara out, considering her a threat to their safety. Now, with her magical abilities and cursed touch, Elara Swiftwind embarks on a journey to find a way to break the curse, all while navigating a world that sees her as both a danger and an outcast.
